The Parish Youth Group and Leaders had a wonderful time when we attended the Big Church Festival this year held at Wiston House and Grounds in Sussex. There was much to do and see.
Musicians from around the world played, and people of all ages seemed to enjoy worship songs. We enjoyed picnics and had a big gazebo. As you can imagine from the photo it was really nice and sunny.
The day went very quickly, no one was in a hurry to go home; an unforgettable time of joy at Pentecost.
The Big Church Festival is the biggest UK Christian festival that happens once a year. There is a main stage with many different bands playing, lots of stalls, and smaller stages, a fun fare, food, and loads of space to explore, all in the beautiful grounds of Wiston House. You can bring your own food to save money as it can be expensive. You can also bring a folded garden chair or picnic blanket when you want to relax, basically it's good day out. Many people attended of all ages, for one day or all weekend, camping or glamping.
This could be adapted as Parish day out.
