Southwark Cathedral MU Festival Service
16th October 2021
Join us at Southwark Cathedral. The Most Revd Josiah Idowu-Fearon, will be the preacher and Canon Wendy Robins, the Cathedral’s Canon Chancellor, will be presiding.

There will be no MU banner procession this year. Please could you wear some sort of uniform, anything blue/white will do, MU scarf, T- shirt etc.

Masks are still requested to be worn, unless exempted, and hands should be sanitised on arrival.

There will be diaries, calendars, greeting cards and other MU items for sale in the South aisle. Please do arrive early and buy before the service, if possible, as Richard Holroyd, Jenny’s husband, cannot stay too long after the service. Please pay by cash or cheque.

There will be refreshments for all after the service, in the South Transept, and members can take theirs outside through the side door in the transept if the weather is good.

The entry to the Cathedral will be from the Millennium Courtyard, on the Thames side of the Cathedral, then turn right along the Link towards the bookshop and toilets and down the steps as normal into the Cathedral. The exit will be in reverse. There will be a retiring collection by the doors prior to going back up the steps.

The service will be a Eucharist and there will be stewards to guide you to one of the communion stations (no chalice) at the front of the Nave. There will be a choir.
